Building
The research building hosts two research departments, i.e. Plant Systems Biology (east wing) and Inflammation Research Center (west wing). Covering a total surface area of 24,405 m², the structure comprises a spacious main building, two laboratory wings separated by a garden, and a half-open parking garage.
The PSB Center
The center is built on the foundations of the Laboratory of General Genetics, pioneered by Jeff Schell and Marc Van Montagu.

"I did my PhD at PSB from Oct. 2011 to Jun. 2016. It was a great period during my entire study life. I have learnt more than scientific thinking and effective working, such as how to live a colorful life beside work. This period certainly will guide my future research career and my life."
Michel Fabris
"At PSB I was surrounded by amazing science and fantastic people from all over the world, and I made great friends there. Now, even from as far as Australia, I’m still in touch with them and with PSB’s inspiring research."
