   - JavaCC 3.2 : this Java-Compiler Compiler helped us a lot to make the code to process SIM-plex's statements human-manageable.

   - The jEdit 2.2.1 syntax highlighting package: adds color to the genetic network definition, and makes SIM-plex statements easy to read.
