Boyu Guo has obtained her Bachelor degree in Biotechnology at Northeast Forestry University, China, in 2016. She did her thesis at Wuhan University, China, focusing on tissue expression analysis of cotton cellulose synthase gene family under the supervision of Prof. Yuxian Zhu. In September 2016, she was admitted to the successive postgraduate and doctoral program of study in Wuhan University and joined the lab of Prof. Yuxian Zhu, working on the mechanism of epidermal cell elongation of cotton. In August 2019, she joined the lab of Jenny Russinova as a joint PhD student and she is interested in asymmetric cell division.
