EU-SAGE publishes an interactive database of genome-edited crops

The European Sustainable Agriculture Through Genome Editing (EU-SAGE) network released a comprehensive genome-edited crops database based on a peer-reviewed literature study. The database gives insight into the multitude of existing genome-edited plants on a global scale and includes over 500 applications to improve several crop species in a broad range of agricultural interesting traits. With the interactive database, EU-SAGE illustrates the potential of new breeding techniques like CRISPR-Cas to contribute to more sustainable agriculture.
