Functional Phosphoproteomics
Aïka started her Master’s thesis at the Functional Phosphoproteomics group in October 2023. She investigates heat-mediated cell signaling, by focusing on protein condensation. She looks into the effect of protein phosphorylation on these condensates. Aïka examines this in different in vivo models, namely bacteria, protoplasts, and transgenic plants. She visualizes protein condensates by confocal microscopy.
