The Trilateral Early Career Researchers Symposium 2026 (TES26) is a bottom-up initiative from and for early career researchers of the Center of Plant Systems Biology (VIB, Ghent), the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Lyon (France) and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), with scientific support of the advisory board from the three institutes. After successful editions in Lyon and Lausanne, this year’s symposium will take place from Sunday 20.09 until Tuesday 22.09.2026 at PSB-VIB, on the Techlane Science Parc.
The specific aims of the event are to highlight different career development opportunities for biology researchers across Europe, to increase the visibility of newly established research groups in and out of academia, to showcase the science and talent of early career researchers, and to increase exchange of ideas and international collaborations.
