FSDM 08

This workshop is the third edition in a series of workshop on the topic of feature selection

Two previous workshops have been organized:

• In 2005, the International Workshop on Feature Selection for Data Mining: Interfacing Machine Learning and Statistics, was organized in Newport Beach, CA, in conjunction with the 2005 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining. FSDM 2005 workshop
• In 2006, the International Workshop on Feature Selection for Data Mining: Interfacing Machine Learning and Statistics, was organized in Betheseda, Maryland, in conjunction with the 2006 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining. FSDM 2006 workshop
