Welcome to the department of Plant Systems Biology

Building
greenhouse_smallThe research building hosts two research departments, Plant Systems Biology (east wing) and the Department for Molecular Biomedical research (west wing).
Boasting a total surface area of 23,195 m², the structure comprises a spacious main building, two laboratory wings, and a half-open parking garage. A garden separates the two wings. In addition to the general reception area and offices, the main building contains a seminar room for 200 persons, a library, and a cafeteria. The two lab wings, each 36 meters wide and three stories high, house the research departments. This new infrastructure greatly facilitates efficient scientific research.
A greenhouse is located on top of the east wing. In both wings approximately 15 lab units provide work space for 12 people. Central service units are used for shared research equipment. Administration, seminar room, library and cafetaria are located in the front building.
