Functional studies at the genome scale require high-throughput and flexible cloning methods. In an ongoing effort spearheaded by Mansour Karimi, we create, improve and disseminate a comprehensive collection of vectors based on the Gateway (TM) recombinational cloning system and designed for gene expression in plant cells.

Vectors for functional gene analysis, protein fusion, silencing and promoter analysis have already been developed and are available to the scientific community .
